This interior fitout for Parlour X – in the former St Johns Church in Paddington – creates an atelier-like space to inspire and delight.

Our client’s brief outlined how the new interior should serve the brand, which caters to a diverse age and range of clients. The project also brought together all of Parlour X’s divisions – buying, retail showroom, online store, administration, storage and back-of-house – under one roof.

As clients cross the sandstone threshold, they are transported to another realm. Original features such as stained-glass windows combine with an awe-inspiring array of merchandise In the high-vaulted space.

Deliberately discreet and unassuming, the interior fitout sits quietly against the sandstone.

Pale oak floors and cream-coloured structural steel, slender clothes racks and elegant shelving, mirrored display cabinets and a circular point-of-sale counter; these elements allow our client to alter the mood depending on the colours and forms of the current season’s offerings.
