BRONTE HOUSE

October 6, 2011

Designing the fundamentals of this Bronte, Sydney house – responding to sun, wind, views, grade, brief – was such a pleasure, it felt almost effortless. At the end of the day, a project can only be as good as the client – and this client is both inspired, and trusting.

Reflecting this collaborative spirit, since the first plan presentation it’s been a relentless quest to express our conceptual thinking in even the most minute detail: an eclectic journey, developing the interiors down to every piece of furniture, carpets and decorative ceiling features. Although the architecture is fairly ‘paired’ back, clearly Modernist, we’ve allowed the interiors to explore various interpretations of styles past, present and, to our mind, a very happy future.
